School....

Last week was the most awesome week of all.... Going to school early in the morning seems a drag but as the days went on the experience just began to set in me and throughout the whole week, i felt good going to school and looking forwards to each and every day. It was really great fun working with the teachers and even better, the students. Looking at them makes me feel really young and even more they make me miss my school days... Though the students were slightly on the naughty side and often get into their teachers' bad books, man... you should see the way they respond to common sense events. They may be mischievous, bt their hearts were pure... they know what it means to treasure the people around them and also to care for them. Knowing that their teacher might get in trouble for telling a stranger off, they stuck by their teacher just to ensure that she is alright. this really opens my eye towards what care really is, sticking by the people around you no matter what it takes! These students could have walked away but they chose to stay with the teacher!
Apart from the caring students, my school experience was made more interesting with co-operative teachers! The teachers in the school was amazing! relentlessly they kept on encouraging me in the things that i do and even more, providing me with all the resources i needed! Specifically speaking, my associate teacher is an exceptionally amazing teacher! Her determination to teach her students really inspired me as i walked towards my career! Furthermore, she gave me the most valuable experience of all..... teaching! she gave me the opportunity to teach her class for one period! Man, it was such an amazing experience! The students responded well towards the lesson, and even more so, they could recall the content of the lesson the next day! I was really encouraged and pumped up by this experience! It was really rewarding to see the students respond towards your teaching and most importantly getting something out of the lesson!
Being able to work with ESOL students was also an enriching experience! I actually learned a lot from the experience! I taught a Samoan girl reading and guided a Chinese student in his work! Wow! I tell you... these kids were amazing.... teachign them was so rewarding.... Though they are just ESOL students, the way they approach learning was so encouraging and made me seem important... i really wish that i can continue working with them....
On the last day, when i left the school, i truly felt saddened in my heart! if felt as if one part of me was torn and taken away.... to admit, i almost cried! haha! Above all... this school experience was really amazing...
